Data Policy
This Data Policy explains what data FastBusiness API collects, how business profiles are generated and stored, and how users can request deletion of their account data.
Last updated: 30th May 20261. Business and Profile Data We Collect
FastBusiness API may collect and process business-related information such as business names, website URLs, business types, LinkedIn URLs, ABNs or ACNs where available, stock tickers, employee counts, sectors, industries, descriptions, headquarters, country information, and source links.
This information may come from public websites, search results, business directories, company pages, government registers, or AI-assisted analysis.
2. User Data We Store
When a user creates an account, we may store account-related information such as name, email address, subscription plan, billing status, API keys, usage data, account settings, and Stripe customer or subscription references.
We do not store full payment card details. Payment information is handled securely by Stripe.
3. API Usage Logs
FastBusiness API stores usage logs to manage API access, subscriptions, rate limits, billing usage, security, and troubleshooting.
Usage logs may include the user who made the request, the endpoint used, the request time, the usage units consumed, and the action performed.
4. Cached and Stored Business Profiles
Generated business profiles may be cached or stored to improve response times, reduce duplicate processing, and provide previously generated business information faster.
If a profile already exists, the API may return the existing profile instead of generating a new one. Stored profiles may be refreshed, but we do not guarantee that all stored information is always current.
5. AI-Generated Information
Some business profiles and descriptions may be generated or assisted by artificial intelligence. AI-generated results may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or misleading.
Users should verify important business information before relying on it for financial, legal, compliance, investment, hiring, or other important business decisions.
6. User Responsibility
Users are responsible for reviewing and verifying any business information returned by the API. FastBusiness API should be used as a business research and enrichment tool, not as the only source of truth.
7. Account Data Deletion Requests
Users may request deletion of their account data by contacting us at [Insert support email].
Some data may need to be retained for a limited period where required for billing records, fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, platform abuse prevention, backup integrity, or record-keeping requirements.
8. Updates to This Data Policy
We may update this Data Policy from time to time as our services, data practices, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
